Essential Cookies
Memoir Builder uses a session cookie to keep you signed in while using the app. This cookie is required for the Service to function and is removed when you sign out.
Analytics & Marketing Cookies
Memoir Builder uses Google Analytics (GA4) in the app to understand which features people use — not to track your memoir content. This sets the following cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes visitors, persists 2 years
- _ga_<container-id> — persists session state for reporting, persists 2 years
We only send feature-usage and navigation events (for example, which export format was chosen, or which board template was switched to). We never send card titles, attachment names, or document/manuscript text to Google Analytics — your memoir content stays private to your account and is never shared with any third party through this integration.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking these cookies through your browser settings (see "Managing Cookies" below).
