Child Abuse Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026 · Version 2026.2
Our Commitment
Worldwide Waypoints, LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) across all of our products, including Memoir Builder. This policy applies to all users, developers, and affiliates.
Scope
Memoir Builder is primarily a private, personal memoir-writing tool. Some planned features — community forums and private chat — are not yet implemented. The content moderation and reporting mechanisms described below apply if and when those features are released; they do not describe functionality available today. Memoir Builder's AI assistant is a private conversation between one user and an automated system; it is not the user-to-user private chat referred to here.
Prohibited Activities
We prohibit Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any content that depicts exploitation or grooming of minors. This includes the sexualization of minors, predatory behavior, inappropriate child-related content, and any facilitation of trafficking.
Content Moderation
Once forums and private chat are live, moderation will combine automated detection with human review of both public and private content. Users found violating this policy face immediate account suspension or termination.
Reporting Mechanism
Once forums and private chat are live, users will be able to report concerns through in-app reporting tools, or directly by emailing info@memoirbuilder.org. Reports can also be made directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at their CyberTipline.
Cooperation With Authorities
We report serious violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement as required. This policy is designed to align with COPPA, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, applicable local child-protection laws, and Google Play's developer policies.
Ongoing Commitment
We review this policy regularly to stay aligned with evolving safety standards and platform requirements.
